There’s a moment in many growth journeys that feels strangely uncomfortable.
Not because something is wrong.
But because something no longer fits.
The routines that once felt natural now feel forced.
The roles you used to play feel heavier than they used to.
The conversations that once energized you now leave you quietly drained.
You begin to realize something important:
You’ve outgrown parts of your life.
And yet… the new version of your life hasn’t fully formed yet either.
Welcome to the in-between season👀
🌱 Outgrowing Is Part of Growing
When people imagine personal transformation, they often picture clarity and confidence.
But the truth is that growth often begins with discomfort.
Not dramatic chaos.
Just a subtle sense that something inside you is shifting.
You might find yourself:
• Wanting different things than you used to
• Questioning habits that once felt automatic
• Feeling less interested in certain conversations or environments
• Becoming more protective of your time and energy
These shifts aren’t signs of confusion.
They’re signs of alignment trying to happen.
🕯️ The Space Between Versions of You
The in-between stage can feel unsettling because we’re wired to want certainty.
We like to know where we belong.
What the plan is.
Where we’re heading next.
But growth rarely gives us that level of clarity all at once.
Instead, it offers something quieter.
A gradual unfolding.
During this stage, it’s completely normal to feel like:
• Your old routines don’t quite fit
• Your future direction isn’t fully clear yet
• You’re adjusting internally before anything changes externally
This space isn’t empty.
It’s creative.
It’s where the next version of your life is slowly taking shape.
🌿 You Don’t Have to Rush the Process

When things feel uncertain, our instinct is often to hurry.
To force a decision.
To create a plan.
To immediately replace what no longer fits.
But sometimes the most important work isn’t deciding what comes next.
It’s simply allowing yourself to notice what’s changing inside you.
Growth doesn’t always move on a tight timeline.
Sometimes it asks us to sit with the shift before acting on it.
And that patience can make all the difference.
💭 Reflection Prompts
🌿 What areas of my life feel like they no longer fit who I’m becoming?
🕯️ Where might I be rushing clarity instead of allowing growth to unfold?
🔥 What might become possible if I trusted this in-between season?
🌙 Final Words

Outgrowing parts of your life doesn’t mean you’ve failed.
It means you’ve evolved.
And the space between who you were and who you’re becoming is not something to fear.
It’s something to respect.
Because within that space, something new is quietly forming.
And when it’s ready…
you’ll recognize it.
Thank You for Growing w/Me.
With Love, – Sage 🌿
